Force Development for Aviation Ordnance

The Wiki section focuses on Fundamental Concepts and serves as a centralized repository of knowledge. It compiles information from authoritative sources into structured summaries for each topic. These summaries aim to provide a foundational understanding, presenting essential information in a clear and accessible format without extensive analysis. While drawing from original materials, the wiki consolidates key ideas for ease of reference. The content is regularly updated, and suggestions for new topics are welcome.

The Articles section presents the material in a more condensed format, often integrating multiple concepts into a unified discussion. These articles are written in a structured format and may include occasional commentary or personal insights.

Also, if you come across an error or see a topic that should be added, feel free to submit a request using the link found in the header of each page. On mobile, you can access this by clicking the Menu icon in the top left corner, selecting "Back to Main Menu," and then clicking "Submit a Request."

The Cheat Sheet

Here is the master list of references I've compiled, including doctrinal publications, Marine Corps Orders, SECNAVINSTs, OPNAVINSTs, and more. This list is continuously updated as I come across additional relevant information. If you have suggestions for items to include, feel free to let me know.

Force Development

The Marine Corps Force Development System plans, designs, and implements the transition of strategic priorities into manned, trained, and equipped Marine Corps organizations able to provide capabilities to Combatant Commanders. Force Development involves integrating future capability requirements with current operational needs and consists of all activities "from guidance to Program Objective Memorandum (POM)" that integrate materiel and non-materiel elements to produce USMC capabilities for Force Generation and Force Employment. The reader is encouraged to first read the Marine Corps Force Development User Guide. This reference serves as an excellent introduction into concepts such as the Marine Corps Capabilities Based Assessment, PPB&E, Total Force Structure Process, Marine Corps Task Lists (MCTL), and many other force development processes.
